A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Mr. Sanjay Shah is the Founder of the Prudent Group and Managing Director of Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd. He previously worked with various Industries before laying foundation of Prudent in 2000.
He has spearheaded various initiatives of the group and established various verticals over the past two decades. Under his leadership Prudent has emerged as leading integrated financial services group in India. He visualized the growth of Mutual fund and Financial Services sector through the power of technology at an early stage of his entrepreneurship journey.
Associated with the group since 2005, Mr. Shirish Patel is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd. He holds an MBA & CFP degree and has held various positions at ICICI Bank & Citi Bank. As the CEO, his role entails the overall strategic direction, network building and operational responsibilities of the group. The group’s success in creating large Channel Partner & Branch Network across India is credited to his relentless efforts.
Mr. Chirag Shah has been associated with the Prudent Group since 2004 and serves as a Director of the company. He is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Indian Insurance Institute, having over 20 years of extensive experience in the insurance and financial field.
In his capacity as a Non-Executive Director, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring robust corporate governance and strategically positioning the company for sustained success. Furthermore, as a Director at Gennext Insurance Brokers Private Limited, he shall be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and developing the insurance business.
An Industry veteran, Mr. Karan Datta has spent close to 25 years in the financial services & asset management. He has worked with Goldman Sachs, Franklin Templeton, Axis Mutual, Aditya Birla Financial Services & Tata Finance. He joined Prudent Corporate in October 2020 as an Independent Director.
CS Shilpi Thapar is a qualified Practising Company Secretary, Law graduate & Insolvency Professional. She has an experience of 18 years, having expertise in Corporate Laws, IPR’s, Corporate Governance issues, Legal drafting, Corporate Restructuring, Directors & C-suite Training. Ms.Shilpi Thapar joined Prudent Corporate in June 2021 as an Independent Director.
CA Aniket Talati is a Central Council Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is respected as an author, prolific speaker and for his strong organizational skills as Partner in one of the leading firms of India, Talati & Talati LLP. He also serves as an advisor to the board of the International Federation of Accounts. He joined Prudent Corporate in June 2021 as an Independent Director.
Mr. Sanjay Sanghvi, Founder of Indus Capital, brings over 35 years of experience in capital markets and more than two decades in mutual funds.
Having built Indus into a trusted investment advisory firm, he now joins Prudent as Advisor – Strategic Initiatives, where he will guide the Indus Capital business within the Group and contribute his expertise to strengthen client relationships and drive growth.
